LEGION Model Builder Help

Analysis Objects

Analysis Objects (Zones, Lines and Poly-lines) are used most widely and powerfully in LEGION Simulator but they also exist within LEGION Model Builder. In LEGION Simulator, they are used to identify areas of a simulation that you want to 'interrogate' analytically, using a wide range of metrics. These kinds of analyses are known as 'Reporting' analyses'

In LEGION Model Builder, Analysis Objects are used in setting up 'Conditions', which enable you to model operational measures taken in response to over-crowding or other dynamic events. These kinds of analyses are known as 'Conditional' analyses'. For an explanation of Conditions, see Conditions in Models .

Note: While it is usual to set up 'Reporting' analyses in LEGION Simulator, you can do so in LEGION Model Builder. When your model is eventually opened in LEGION Simulator, these analyses will already be there and will not need to be added.
